Houston Morning 1

Exciting morning as I discovered my phone was dead. And I forgot my wall charger. I had a car charger that was lightning fast so into the car I went. I reluctantly changed out of my pajamas through on a fleece and went looking for coffee. I don't like to go to chains unless I have to for restaurants when I'm traveling so I tried to find a local place. I found a really cute place not too far from where I was. I got a cup of coffee and was excited to sit outside and journal. Except I discovered the street adjacent was incredibly noisy. Sigh. I pulled out my homework from my coach and Costa Rica and flipped open my journal of course landing on the page of notes that I took while in Costa Rica. Just journal already, the universe was telling me. I put in my noise canceling ear plugs to try to make it through. Maybe it was the fact that I wasn't caffeinated yet, but there was no journaling happening. I packed up and decided to drive around and just explore while my phone charged. I forgot a ton of other things so I planned on going to the Target just a few miles away from where I was staying on the way home. I ventured out and just drove around and found some really really nice neighborhoods. Then I remember that my high school friend lives in Beyonce's childhood home here. I googled and went to one address and it was clearly not my friend's house. There was a local TV segment done years ago on the house and I knew that wasn't it. So I pulled over watch the segment and then found the real house. It was glorious. Roslyn if you're reading, I would have loved to say hi and give you a new hug but among the things that I forgot to pack where my toothbrush. So you're welcome for not stopping by. Unannounced. After not seeing each other for 20 years. I went to Target and got a wall charger face wipes and a beloved toothbrush. I'm back at the house now, have showered and I'm ready to go find some food and maybe visit one of the art museums I was looking at. At 4:00 p.m. I'm doing a sunset skyline tour on my bike. So I also have to pack up my bike and get air in the tires for that. I'm really excited about that though. Also I forgot my computer so this is I'll talk to text. Maybe while I'll eat I'll edit and make sure it doesn't sound crazy. Well, I mean less crazy.
