Houston Recap

 I gotta make this quick but here's lowdown:

• I loveddddd Houston. The city is so diverse and beautiful. I found so many adorable neighborhoods adjacent to gorgeous parks and fun things to do. It totally made me want to explore Austin in the same way. 
• I missed my kids. I missed my dogs. Sigh. 
• The Airbnb was immaculate but definitely not walkable to anything, which sucked. Next time I'll get a place that's walkable. 
• Bringing my bike was the best thing everrrrr. I only wish I had been closer to everything. 
• I forgot a zillion things; today when I unpack I'll leave almost everything that I know I'll be taking in the same bag so it's already done. 
• I was ready to go home after yesterday morning. For next time, I might get up really early to depart and then just spend ONE night in a super awesome spot instead of two. 
• I wasn't in the mood for art museums but could have easily done the whole day on my bike. The trouble was I had to check out of the Airbnb, so I had all of my stuff in the car and I worried about, Lessons for next time as well. 

Highlights of the trip: Bike tour and the car wash. lol My car looks BRAND NEW. 

Least favorite: Trying to time the check out and activities yesterday morning, along with finding coffee and making sure everything was ready to go. 

Next trip is to Charlotte in 2 weeks. Partially for work. 😎
